As women we love looking good at all times. We each have what we spend our money on to look good, some spend on makeup, some on shoes, another on clothes and some on plastic surgery. There is definitely nothing wrong in wanting to look attractive and beautiful in all ramifications. However just as we take our time to look beautiful on the outside we should also take time to invest on the inside. At the end of the day, people only remember how you make them feel.
I know that life can be unfair sometimes, people will hurt you time and time again but you cannot let circumstances define you as a person. No matter what happens you should stay true to your personal values and convictions. Your personal values and convictions should only be tied to one source, the word of God this is because that is what will stand the test of time.
Here are some positive values you should hold on to;
· Treat people with love and respect; no man is an island, we all need each other. Don’t look at the world through the four walls of your space and treat people like dirt because you think they might not be of use to you one day. God is the author of tomorrow not you, a person might sleep today as a peasant and wake up tomorrow a king or queen. People respond positively to love and respect. Don’t be quick to point a finger at someone, remember that as you point one finger there are three pointing back at you. What you respect you attract (Mike Murdock)
· Have a sense of identity; C.S Lewis once said let your happiness not be tied to something you can loose. You can loose a car, a house, a job, a marriage or a person. Let your identity be tied to an eternal source, God. He is everlasting. Never look to people to validate you, know who you are and what you want out of life and the universe will submit to it. Know your worth!
· Celebrate others; yes be happy for other people’s success. What you make happen for others God will make happen for you (Mike Murdock). If you are not happy for someone who has something you have been praying for how do you expect to get yours. Stop the hateful words, the lies and celebrate others. We all have our own race to run, it doesn’t matter who gets there first as long as you complete your race. It is not a competition; there can never be another you. Some people are soo envious and jealous you can tell from afar. Celebrate others and you will be celebrated.
· Never look down on anyone; don’t ever size anyone up by the kind of job they do. Remember that you are not the author of anyone’s life and you don’t know anyone’s tomorrow. Don’t think to highly of yourself just because you can afford the finest things in life. It’s good to have them but don’t let those things have you. Everything you have has been given to you by God to be a blessing to someone else. Don’t oppress anyone with your titles and your wealth. Humility is a virtue!
In all, when your inside is as beautiful as your outside, it’s a complete package, flawless, hard to resist above all beautiful.
