Is it body oils, or creams and lotions?

Body oil
Body oils are the perfect way to keep your skin moisturized. Body oils enhance the quality of your skin because they soak quickly and deeply into the skin to leave it moisturized all day long. They are thick and smooth clear in color. The best body oils are organic, free of chemicals and extracted from roots, fruits and flowers. Oil makes your skin incredibly soft and tends to have much higher concentration of potent ingredients like antioxidants and vitamins which makes the skin cells more functional at retaining water. It’s economical to use body oil.
How to apply body oil
A lotion is 70% water so when you apply body oil to your wet skin you basically have a lotion without an emulsifier. After you take a bath, do not towel yourself yet, just apply the body oil and let it soak into your skin for 2 minutes you can get busy with other things like brushing your teeth. Examples of body oils are osmia body oil collection, bio-oil etc.
Body creams and lotions
Body creams penetrate the skin and provide a barrier that prevents more moisture loss from skin than lotion while body lotions are not as sticky and they usually have higher water content. Lotions are good for skin that is excessively dry. Lotions do not moisturize as much or stay as long as creams and oils.
As a rule, lotions work better on oily skin, creams and oils on drier skin.
